In September 2019 a new SCIP database was announced and from 5th January 2021 suppliers of articles containing substances of very high concern in a concentration above 0.1%w/w placed on the EU market must notify these products on the database. In 2020 a pilot database will be launched and member?! States will need to make National Law supporting this requirement.
The Candidate List of substances was updated in July 2019 and now includes 201 chemicals. For Further information search https://echa.europa.eu/scip-database
